Dr. Michelene Todd received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. A member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, Dr. Todd has been practicing for over 20 years, specializing in dry eye disease, specialized contact fittings, including toric and multifocal lenses, and emergency eyecare.
Dr. Todd has participated as a clinical investigator for numerous pharmaceutical studies including those for dry eye disease, meibomian gland disease, blepharitis, glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.
She has been a speaker and contributor to many ophthalmic and optometric audiences and journals on the topics of dry eye disease and contact lenses.
She lives in Woodbury with her husband, 2 children and yellow lab. In her spare time she enjoys cycling, running, hiking and volunteering.
